You may wonder how James could tell us to consider it joy to face suffering. It is because we can take confidence in knowing that with each cleansing time we face, we become a little stronger, a little more content and a little more ready to face what life may dish out. God wants to prepare us for whatever extremes we might face. When one day it seems that everything is going our way and the next we face our worse day ever, God does not want us to shatter--but to remain in tact. Consider this joy--God loves you and wants you to maintain peace of mind in the storm, and contentment of heart in the midst of crisis, knowing that He has your best interest at heart.

Dear Lord, Help us to realize that Christians everywhere are in a spiritual battle, and need to recognize the enemy -- trying to blot out Your Jesus like influences in our cities, our government, our schools and in our homes. Help us to realize also that "greater is He (God) who is within me, than he (Satan) who is in the world."* ... If I walk in Your will, then You will never desert me, for I can count on You. You will provide strength and courage and guidance, for You are true to Your Word. ... The question is, can You count on me? Oh Lord, I hope so, for I need You, and You need your people to be faithful. ... Help me to keep YOUR words in my heart, for they are the purpose and direction that I need on an every day bases, to fight the wiles of the enemy. Dear GOD bless this nation, bless our schools, bless our homes, keep the hedge of protection about us and our love ones. We acknowledge only you as our LORD AND SAVIOUR. WE bind satan and his cohearts in the name of JESUS. WE speak peace where there is confusion, we speak laughter were there are sorrows, life were there is death . We speak faith were there is no hope. we pray for our nation and its governments, we pray for our cities and towns that the words of JESUS reigns through out our nation.
